Welcome Class 2010-2011 4th Graders!

I'm so excited to start another year and meet all the new faces that will share Room 503 with me! I hope you are all as excited as I am! We are going to have an exciting, fun-packed year! Remember...Open House is September 1 from 1:00 - 3:00. I hope to see you then!

Camp Reed 2010

With all of the busy-ness of May (testing, Camp, track-coaching, etc.), I have gotten a little behind on my blogging. I had so many pictures of Camp Reed that I thought some collages might be the best way to share some of them.
This year's camp was one of the chilliest years I have attended but it also had the fewest mosquitoes of any year! We only got rained on for a few minutes. I thought it was very successful!

There were some wonderful sessions at camp. The kids learned about "Bugs and Crud", Soils and Trees", Fire Safety, made Camp Shirts and even had some Team Building practice.

Such hard thinkers!

Couldn't have done it without these people! Thanks so much!!

Wait a minute...who's taking whose picture here???

Look who else stopped by to help teach some fire and forest safety....With all this learning, the kids had to have a little rec time.

This will be Mr. Mueller's last year at Camp with us so we had to get one last picture with him.

...but what do the teachers do when no one is looking???

HES is the best!

Camp Reed Meeting

Just a reminder...tomorrow, May 11th, there will be two parent meetings for Camp Reed. One is at 9:15 am and the other is at 6:30 pm. Any questions or concerns you may have can be addressed at one of these meetings. They will be held at Hallett in the multi-purpose room.
